It's all about God. Everything we have and do should be directed towards and/or for God. Not just the "big" things, but also and most especially the little things. Like what you read or watch on television or listen to on your ipod/mp3 player. Do our choices edify the Lord? Or do they simply serve our own purposes/pleasures?
So, hopefully on this site you will find things to help you in your spiritual journey. I try to put the readings for the week from the lectionary as well as some quotes from Christians that have made the journey before us. Some of the readings are in books of the Bible found in Catholic Bibles but no longer in protestant Bibles, like Sirach, Baruch, and Maccabees. These books were in all Bibles until the 1800's when various publishers removed them.
And just in the last month or so I have started posting book reviews. I will try to get more reviews and links posted in the near future.
